Aside from my favorite apl.de.ap, another Black Eyed Peas member is a Filipino. Taboo, an American who has Mexican-Shoshone roots, claims he is a Filipino at heart! No doubt about it, as his heart belongs to a Caviteña named Jaymie Dizon -- his wife.
Taboo on Thursday visited several centers of "Gawad Kalinga" in Taguig, during which he declared his love for the Philippines. "Gawad Kalinga," which literally means "give care," is "a Philippine-based poverty alleviation and nation-building movement," according to Wikipedia.org (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gawad_Kalinga).
