Holy Week and True Love

Happy Easter! I had a busy but productive holiday. But just as the holiday ends, let me share with you some of my random thoughts during this Holy Week.

1. True love, in its perfect sense, only comes from God. To share love with other people is such a beautiful experience. But to attempt to give true love to, or to get it from, others is such a waste of time.

2. Because human love is naturally incomplete and imperfect, we need to forgive the loved ones who hurt us and to reconsider the love that they have given us, no matter how imperfect or incomplete their love is.

3. We also need to ask for forgiveness from those we hurt because of our incomplete and imperfect love.

4. How can I be afraid of being buried in the oblivion of my love's memory, when Jesus, even on his crucifixion, always remembers me?

5. How can I be afraid of being forgotten when I'm not afraid of death?

6. How can I be afraid of death when Jesus, my companion, crushed death for me?

7. Technically, the term "Christians" also refers to people in other Christian denominations, not just Catholic Christians or Born-Again Christians. FYI.

8.I should encourage the family to revive our tradition of observing Lent.
